The world has become more complex. Hamburg artist Kasia Kohl, who is searching for meaning in a modern, high-tech world, is also preoccupied with this. Intuitively and with aggressive gestures, Kasia develops painterly structures from which abstract, associative or figurative elements are carefully worked out. The insignificance and complexity of postmodernism are recurring motifs for the young artist, who perceives our present time as "post-organic". In this, the human being dissolves and disappears into virtual and technical insignificance.
Some of her works were created in collaboration with Söntke Campen.
